After a succesfull IFCA Slalom Worlds event here on Bonaire which ended yesterday July 17,I am still 13 years old but started today competing at the 5th Prokids Freestyle in the division
14 and 15 years old. At this moment I am exhausted after 1 week Aruba Hi-winds, 1 week Slalom
Worlds and now coming-up 2 days of Freestyle.
But...... freestyle is my favourite dicipline, so I go for it!!!!
Unfortunately there were only 2 other competitors in my division.
These boys are Dylan Robbles from Bonaire and Rich Cecilia from Aruba.
At 10 am we had skippermeeting and right after the heats started with the very young competitors.
Boys 14-15 raced all 3 together in 1 heat and I advanced to the next. And won the final against Rich.
Today I could finally welcome Mr. Jeffrey Henderson from Hot Sails Maui here on Bonaire. I had already
met him on Maui at Christmas-time 2006, but it is great to have him here on the island.
He did some photoshooting with all the Hot Sails Maui team-members from Bonaire.

Second and final day. The heats started again with the very young ones, and once it was our
turn I again could make it to the final. This was a very short event we I had a lot of fun.
I prayed for a little more wind, but one can't have it all.
Third was Rich, second was Dylan and I became first.

Below you will find a picture of Mr. Elvis Martinus, the man who made this event possible, because
of his dedication to the windsurfsport and his never ending energy to make thing happen at
Sorobon Beach. Again thanks to all the event-sponsors, volunteers, jury-members, Starboard and
Hot Sails Maui.
